I almost NEVER splurge on makeup I always seem to find great products at the drugstore that work relatively the same and being a teen I do not make a income, and my parents won’t just buy me a $45 dollar foundation. But about 2 years ago for my birthday I got some cash and headed over to my local ulta (with coupons!!) and bought my first high end eyeshadow pallet and completely fell in love! This pallet is very pigmented and high quality, it also has a variety of shades for any occasion!
This pallet runs for around $35 but if you go online and look for some coupons you could probably get it for $30!
Apple Cider Vinegar(AVC) a great product to have in your house at all times. Some of the benefits of AVC include….
- Speeds up metabolism
- Can cure hiccups
- Promotes healthy hair
- Balancing hormones
The list can go on and on…but personally my favorite use for ACV is a easy face wash. I noticed dramatic changes in my acne and overall redness.
To make this DIY face wash you simply need 2 ingredients….that’s right 2 and one of them is free!
How to make ACV face wash
For sensitive skin: mix 1 part Apple cider vinegar with 4 parts water.
For normal skin: mix 1 part Apple cider vinegar with 2 pars water.
For oily skin: mix 1 part Apple cider vinegar with 1 part water.
With a cotton ball/ pad wipe face after removing makeup. You will notice more dirt and makeup that you didn’t even know we’re there come off!
-do not use any ration lower than 1:1 AVC is highly acidic.-
-make sure to purchase Apple cider vinegar that has “mother” inside.-
I recently heard many YouTube beauty guru’s rave about the new hydrating foundation from Maybelline. Is it worth all the hype? For me it is not. It is a nice foundation but personally I don’t favor it over some other drugstore foundations. I find it to have a kind of cakey finish. The foundation has moussey texture, which I don’t mind but it apply’s very poorly with my foundation brush, though it does apply more favorable with a Beauty Blender. But for me the foundation doesn’t look quite right with a powder to set it. I would rate this product a 6/10. If you have tried it let me know how it worked for you.
